"Aus Alt mach' Neu": This was the motto of the sustainability week at the local daycare center Wirbelwind in Halsbrücke.
As part of their theme week, we were able to show the young visitors the cycle from old to new using our recycling and upcycling processes. The process steps starting with the old material through the various refining and forming stages to the new solder wire visibly impressed the students from grades two to four.
We are pleased that we were able to give them a good overview of the important topics of the circular economy and metals as the basis of any value creation.
Their conclusion:
We think it is very important that there are companies like Feinhütte that process and further utilize old material. In this way, the ores can remain in nature and this is not further destroyed. We thank you for the interesting tour, it was great that we could experience this.
