Responsibility that pays off

We consistently use recycled materials.

Each time we recycle, we conserve natural resources and reduce the ecological footprint of our products.

Unlike mining, where ore must be extracted, crushed and concentrated in a complex process, the work in a secondary smelter is limited to smelting and refining. This efficient process saves us energy and significantly reduces CO2 emissions.

Individual carbon footprint

We kindly provide you with the carbon footprint of individual alloys and formats upon request.

This means that our partners are fully aware of the climate benefits offered by our products and can document these transparently.

Sustainability in figures

To date, there has been little transparency regarding the high carbon footprint of high-tech devices and their  upstream supply chains in electronics manufacturing. In 2021, we participated in the scope3transparent project in collaboration with Fraunhofer IZM and provided our data.

This allows companies to set CO2 targets to achieve climate neutrality, enables consumers to make more  informed decisions and helps policymakers to develop ways to transparently evaluate complex products.
