Pure tin anodes for surface technology and electroplating
We manufacture and supply suitable anodes for the most demanding applications and end products in surface technology. These include plate and rod anodes as well as bulk anodes in the form of sticks or pellets.
We focus in particular on pure tin anodes with a maximum lead content of 0.03%, 0.01% or 0.005%. A key quality feature of our solid anodes is their extremely precise material homogeneity. This is the key to predictable dissolution behaviour, which ensures trouble-free operation and optimised material consumption.
Depending on the application and coating requirements, we offer anodes for clamping, screwing or hook suspension. Our bulk anodes can be used loose in titanium or stainless steel baskets as well as in specially developed anode bags.
Find metals & alloys
We can provide you with the right metals for (electroplated) metal finishing:
GreenTin+
Pure tin made from 100% recycled material
GreenTin+ is an ecologically sourced material of the highest quality that can be purchased as pure tin in the form of bars, rods, wires and anodes.
Alternatively, it is also available as the main alloy component in all relevant lead-free electronic solders.

The anodes for your process
Every electroplating process places different demands on the anode material. That is why we supply plate anodes and bulk anodes in various sizes and shapes, precisely tailored to your systems and quality parameters. Our products are process-reliable, durable and sustainably manufactured.

Typical applications for pure tin anodes
Surface technology encompasses a wide range of electroplating processes in which high-purity tin anodes ensure uniform, adhesive and solderable coatings. Whether continuous coating in strip electroplating, efficient mass processing in barrel electroplating, precise individual part finishing in rack electroplating or targeted coatings in selective electroplating – with our anodes, you are optimally equipped for all processes.
In strip plating, metal strips are continuously passed through electroplating baths while they get tinned – ideal for connectors, contacts, and printed circuit boards in the electronics, automotive, and communications industries. Our pure tin anodes (99.9–99.99%) enable flawless, solderable layers with precise thickness and consistent dissolution behavior.
Barrel plating is suitable for mass-produced parts such as screws, nuts, or stamped components, which are coated in rotating baskets. It is primarily used in the automotive industry, fastening technology, and consumer goods production. Our bulk anodes in stick form ensure uniform coatings, minimize residues, and extend the service life of your plating baths.
Rack plating is used to coat larger or more delicate components individually, such as design and functional parts, housings, and medical devices. This process is used in medical technology, aerospace, mechanical engineering, and the jewelry industry. Our plate anodes offer the highest homogeneity and process reliability.
Targeted coating of individual component areas, e.g., for contact surfaces in electronics or highly stressed functional zones in electrical and energy engineering. High-purity tin anodes allow for the application of precise, adhesive layers that ensure conductivity and corrosion protection.
Other products for electroplating processes
Pure lead & lead alloysIn addition to our high-purity tin anodes (99.9–99.99%), we also offer pure lead and lead alloys for special electroplating applications:
Pure lead
Ideal for lining tanks and equipment in chemical processes using sulfuric acid electrolytes, where high corrosion resistance is required.
Anodes based on lead alloys
This lead-antimony alloy is used for large baths in hard chrome plating plants and heavy industrial coatings. Thanks to its higher hardness and dimensional stability, it offers a long service life and minimises sludge residues in large electroplating baths. Typical areas of application are hard and decorative chrome plating in mechanical engineering, automotive or tool making.
Giving old metals a new use
For real sustainabilityWe convert metal waste into customer-specific alloys and thus close the loop. In this way, we not only relieve our customers of the burden of disposing of old materials in a proper and environmentally friendly manner, but also make an important contribution to conserving limited resources through recycling.
