Pb60Sn40 is a standard soft solder for iron and flame soldering as well as for dip tinning of galvanized sheet steel or alloyed zinc in metalworking and cooler construction. Also conditionally suitable for use in the car bodywork area.

This alloy can be stored for at least 48 months if properly stored in a clean and dry environment. For massive formats, further processing is usually possible after the specified storage period has expired but should be technically checked and approved in advance.
