Typical tin alloys & their areas of application
The areas of application for tin alloys depend heavily on their chemical composition. Depending on the addition of metals such as silver, copper, antimony, bismuth or indium, the physical, electrical and mechanical properties change - and so do the applications.
| Tin-copper alloys | Tin-silver-copper alloys (SnAgCu) | Tin-antimony alloys | Tin-bismuth alloys | Tin-indium alloys | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Examples | Sn97Cu3 | SAC305 (Sn96,5Ag3,0Cu0,5) | Sn90Sb10 | Bi58Sn42 | In52Sn48 |

The right format for your process
Tin alloys are required in various formats depending on the application and processing step. Whether as ingots for the foundry, wire for precise soldering processes or granulate for automatic dosing systems - we supply the right format for your process. Our portfolio also includes anodes and rods in special dimensions. Our focus is always on quality and processability.
GreenTin+
Pure tin made from 100% recycled material
GreenTin+ is an ecologically sourced material of the highest quality that can be purchased as pure tin in the form of bars, rods, wires and anodes.
Alternatively, it is also available as the main alloy component in all relevant lead-free electronic solders.
