Feinhütte Halsbrücke GmbH and EMIL OTTO Flux- und Oberflächentechnik GmbH will support each other in product development and improvement as well as in sales and customer service.

Both companies will include products from the partner in the product range and introduce products that have been developed and / or optimized together on the market. The customer advantage and an optimal price-performance ratio continues to be the focus.

Both companies have had many parallels in their corporate history. On the one hand the traditional Feinhütte Halsbrücke GmbH, with more than 400 years of history in the smelting of non-ferrous metals and the manufacture of customer- specific semi-finished products. On the other side is the profiled flux manufacturer Emil Otto GmbH, founded in Magdeburg and arrived in Eltville in the 1960s after the turmoil of war and several relocations, and reunited with the original company in Magdeburg in 1991. "Not only the long-standing history of both companies and the knowledge and experience, but also the understanding of products and quality characterise both companies", says Markus Geßner, Marketing and Sales Manager of Emil Otto GmbH.

Lothar Patzig, Managing Director of Feinhütte Halsbrücke GmbH, explains: “Combining the expertise of the leading manufacturer of solders and fluxes in the metallurgical and chemical sectors are a strong benefit for the different industries in Europe. We want to set trends in the future. At the same time, we always keep an eye on our customers’ requirements and applications!”

Emil Otto currently offers a wide range of products for metal surface treatment and metal joining technology. In particular, the excellent fluxes for electronics production, strip tinning and cooler and container construction are successfully used in Germany and abroad. The large product portfolio is completed by soldering aids, cleaning products, SMD adhesives and ESD products.

Both companies have agreed to include products from their respective partners in their own product range. A common product brochure is being developed. At productronica 2019 a joint trade fair appearance is planned, as well as numerous other marketing and sales activities in the near future. "We have been working together for several years and therefore know each other' s qualities. We are convinced that with our solders and Emil Otto fluxes we can generate a high added value for our customers", explains Tobias Patzig, authorized officer of Feinhütte. Markus Geßner adds: "As a manufacturing soldering company, Feinhütte Halsbrücke works according to the same principle as Emil Otto: quality is essential and is upheld thanks to excellent source materials and a great deal of effort in research and product development. That's why we have embarked on this partnership."

During productronica 2019, both companies will present themselves at a joint trade fair appearance in Hall A4 on Stand 420.
