Medium-sized, innovative and successful: Feinhütte produces tin and lead as fine metals and in a wide range of alloys, including antimony, bismuth, copper, germanium, indium and precious metals. This makes us one of the most prominent secondary smelters for non-ferrous metals in Europe. With state-of-the-art technologies and extensive metallurgical expertise, we are able to process virtually all types of tin and lead residues – in a resource-saving, environmentally friendly and economical manner.
Responsibility for metal.
When the first non-ferrous and precious metals were extracted from local ores in Halsbrücke in 1612, it was not yet foreseeable that this would lead to the creation of one of the most renowned specialists in tin and lead alloys. Today, we produce high-quality metals and metal alloys in a wide variety of compositions, variants, formats and purities at our Halsbrücke site. Some of the metals and alloys extracted are further processed into semi-finished products. Our customers come from a wide range of industries – from the automotive sector to electronics (EMS) and electrical engineering, the plain bearing industry, medical technology, aerospace, construction, mechanical and plant engineering, renewable energies and electroplating, right through to highly specialised customers in the arts and crafts sector.

Pure tin made from 100% recycled material
GreenTin+ is an ecologically sourced material of the highest quality that can be purchased as pure tin in the form of bars, rods, wires and anodes.
Alternatively, it is also available as the main alloy component in all relevant lead-free electronic solders.
